Our Homefrontteam
A Home Front Team (TFT) is a group of people who support us in our work from the Netherlands. This team is of great value to us, and we are incredibly grateful for their support! The word TEAM in ThuisFrontTeam was not chosen at random. It stands for Together, Everybody Achieves More, and emphasizes the common mission: witnessing to Jesus and contributing to the expansion of God’s Kingdom.
In concrete terms, this means that the TFT works with us to ensure that our mission not only becomes possible, but also continues. Each member contributes to this with his own unique talents, ideas and commitment. In this way, everyone’s personal contribution becomes valuable and meaningful. God calls us to work together to build His Kingdom and spread His love, each with the gifts we have received and in the place where we are. We cannot do this work alone. Therefore, we have asked people to support us in this.
The members of our TFT contribute from the Netherlands to spread the gospel by radio all over Africa. Their support, effort and commitment make a world of difference. We are enormously grateful to have such a great team that is committed to this mission together with us.

Gerreke
My name is Gerreke, I have lived in Zeewolde for 40 years and am blessed with a wonderful family with 3 cute adolescents. Together with my husband I have a business in coffee & tea, and I also work in the front office in a church and meeting center in Zeewolde. I have a heart for people, love to get moving if I can encourage or support people. I also have a heart for worship, love to play the piano in worship to Him.
I got to know David and Linda as warm loving people, with an equally moved heart for our fellow man, and for Jesus. In that we have really found each other. When I heard about TWR and the mission that these beautiful people are going to do, I was really touched. Because life has its challenges, and I wouldn’t know how to face them without Jesus. That there are people in the world who may not or cannot hear about Jesus, I find intense. That is why the task of TWR is so incredibly important, because through it we bring Jesus to all places, to all people who need Him! It feels like a valuable task to be allowed to be on the home front team, and thus be able to contribute remotely to this wonderful mission: to share Jesus beyond church walls and across national borders.
Astrid & Hein
Let me introduce myself. I am Hein, husband of Astrid and father of four children. During the week I am active with young people. To make them enthusiastic for the profession of Care and Welfare. I also work in the open meal project in the village where I live.
I got to know David and Linda better while running this project. Their vision on the activities surrounding the project and the drive to give it shape adorn them. So I was not surprised when this lovely couple told me that they had found an even more challenging mission. Being sent out by TWR to Eswatini to maintain the technology for the transmitters there. This lovely missionary couple is something I hold dear to my heart. They deserve to be supported. They are giving up everything to be a building block in sending the gospel.
Alida & Albert
We have been privileged to walk alongside with David and Linda for almost 10 years now after Linda was the first to give her life to Jesus. We were also allowed to offer her a place to explore with the others, who had also taken the Alpha course, what it is like to follow Jesus in your daily life. Beautiful and answered to prayer we got to see David take the step later on! And admirable with how much passion they followed Jesus and worked for Him. Now they even leave their lives behind to work for TWR. Supporting them from the Netherlands and looking after the finances for them (Albert) and being a “buddy” for Linda (Alida) is a new step for us but made from our hearts. David and Linda we are proud of you.
